Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains how Sophrology Guide (sophrologyguide.com, “we”, “us”) handles information about visitors. We’ve kept it short, because we collect very little.

The short version

  • You can read the whole site without creating an account or giving us any personal information.
  • We don’t use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.
  • The site itself doesn’t set cookies.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and to keep the site running.
  • If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Information we collect

Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit a page: your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, the page you came from and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working and to diagnose problems. They’re kept for a limited period and aren’t used to identify individual visitors.

Emails. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We won’t add you to a mailing list.

Cookies

Sophrology Guide doesn’t set cookies. If we add a service that uses cookies in the future, such as privacy-friendly analytics, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Some pages may contain links to other websites, including affiliate links. When you click one and arrive on another site, that site, or the affiliate network that manages the link, may set its own cookies to record that you came from us, so that we can receive a commission if you make a purchase. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

We process server log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working. We process emails you send us on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you, or to take steps you’ve asked us to take.

Sharing your information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting and email providers, or where the law requires it.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. In practice, the only personal information we’re likely to hold about you is an email you’ve sent us. To make a request, email us at the address below.

Children

Sophrology Guide is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
